Tina Wilson is a strategic designer who believes apparel should spark joy, encourage color exploration, and deliver true comfort—all while staying rooted in both macro and micro trends.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Tina has had the privilege of working alongside fashion icons Calvin Klein and Donna Karan, where she learned the value of vision, curiosity and brand focus. She has designed for other brands including Commando, Natori, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Nicole Miller and Cuddlduds under the Carole Hochman/Komar umbrella. She also created Control Freak, a shapewear line licensed by Wacoal America focusing on body type.
Most recently, Tina was VP of Design for HUE, overseeing apparel, legwear, hosiery, and sleepwear while helping to refresh the brand. Today, she works as a strategic design consultant, guiding projects from concept and presentation through production with a deep understanding of fit and sourcing.
Born in Detroit, Tina moved to New York City at a young age on a full scholarship to attend Parsons School of Design. She served as president of the Underfashion Club for seven years, supporting mentorship and scholarships for students in intimate apparel design, merchandising, and marketing.
Looking ahead, Tina is excited to partner with brands that want to innovate, reimagine their collections, and bring new energy to the market. She welcomes opportunities to collaborate and share her expertise with teams ready to take bold steps in design.
